Helping you bring your family
back to the table.
Meet Nate
Nate Dogg Eats is powered by husband, dad, coach, and lifelong food-fan, Nate Kuiper. Pasta prepared any way was his favorite meal growing up in Michigan. He spent his twenties in and around Arizona State University, on a steady diet of Mexican fare. And for the last 17 years, Nate himself has been doing all the cooking for his family with his wife Megan, at their home in Wisconsin.
Nate discovered his passion for cooking as a newlywed, working from home. In the years thereafter, he established a solid rotation of go-to recipes for his growing family. These days, Nate designs meal plans to feed three hungry boys who eat like they’ve got hollow legs.
Nate Dogg Eats is a curated collection of Nate’s favorite ways to feed his fam. In Nate Dogg Eats, Nate is sharing his best tips and tricks for planning meals, shopping for ingredients, cooking in batches, feeding ravenous teenagers, and entertaining for fun. Nate is thrilled that you’re here.
I can help you help your family.
Strengthen relationships.
When families eat together, they are likely to engage in conversation and share their thoughts and feelings with one another. This can help to build trust and understanding among family members, and may even lead to a greater sense of closeness and intimacy. Additionally, eating together can help to reinforce family values and traditions, as well as provide a sense of stability and consistency in the midst of busy schedules and daily stresses.
Promote healthy eating habits.
When families eat together, it allows for the opportunity to prepare and consume nutritious meals together. They tend to choose healthier foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. They are also more likely to avoid unhealthy and processed foods that are high in fat, sugar, and salt.
Provide space for open conversation and communication.
When families eat together, it can help family members feel more connected to each other. They are more likely to engage in conversation and share stories which can help family members learn more about each other and develop a deeper understanding of each other's lives. It can also provide an opportunity to discuss important topics such as school, work, and relationships in a safe and supportive environment.
